I'm very interested in becoming a part
of a school community as a teacher of the deaf/hard of hearing. I value an instructional environment that meets the needs
of all students. My educator preparation is both extensive and varied. I understand the value of various modes of communication
and educational methods. I am prepared to meet the needs of a very diverse deaf/hard of hearing population.
I will graduate in May with a masters of
science degree in the education of the deaf and hard of hearing from Bloomsburg University of Pennsylvania, where I have a
career GPA of 4.0. I will also hold a national certification by the Council on Education for the Deaf (CED). My undergraduate
work was done at Springfield College, where I earned a bachelors of science in English, as well as an elementary education
license.
